WHERE DO THE COURIERS DELIVER TO?
We tried to make the zone as big as we could within the $9 flat rate delivery.
We will be delivering to all K1, K2 and K4 postal codes! That's the Ottawa heart and a little bit beyond. We also deliver to Gatineau J8 postal codes for $12 (Sorry, no J9).
WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDER?
Our courier delivers on Tuesday + Friday.... so your weekends are free to hang out with the people that matter!
HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?
Our flat rate delivery costs $9 (tax included) for the Ottawa heart addresses (K1, K2, K4), and a slightly higher amount for surrounding areas.
By using local courier services we are not only creating jobs in the local economy, but we have completely taken the logistics of inventory, packing + shipping off of our makers' to-do lists so that they can do what they do best... make!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M NOT HOME WHEN THEY DELIVER?
Its mandatory to put a phone number on the order... if you aren't home, they make every possible effort to get in touch with you. We will either arrange a safe delivery spot, or arrange for a re-try.
HOW WILL IT BE DELIVERED?
We try to cut out plastics whenever we can... your order will be delivered in our custom paper shopper (with custom tags + cards to put in with your gift to highlight local). Your order may be delivered with bubble wrap if the item is breakable (like the ceramics).
If receiving by shipping, it will be in a standard shipping box (nothing fancy... reuse/recycle).
MY ORDER IS A GIFT... HOW CAN I DO THIS?
It's totally up to you! If you want to get it delivered to you so that you can do your own porch drop off to your friend/colleague/boss/dog groomer/great aunt etc, you can totally do that!
But, if you put a separate shipping address at checkout (different than your billing address) we can deliver straight to that special someone!
Please put in the notes at checkout if it is a gift being sent to the recipient.
I WANT TO SEND MULTIPLE GIFTS TO PEOPLE, DO I HAVE TO PAY SEPARATE DELIVERY FEES?
Yes, you will have to pay multiple deliveries. But we take all the work off your plate (going into a shop, coming home, bagging it, delivering it, avoiding those winter roads). Our contactless delivery gets those local gifts to those special someones you want to spoil.
I'M NOT FROM OTTAWA... DO YOU SHIP?
Yes, we will be shipping with tracked shipping. You may pay a little bit more this way. We will be shipping on Mondays and Thursdays.
AN ITEM WAS DAMAGED WHEN IT ARRIVED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We're sorry this happened to you! If you shopper by courier, please email by the end of the delivery day with photos of the item and your order number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with you to sort it out.
If you shopped with shipping, we are not responsible once the package is in the care of Canada Post or other shipping partners. Should shipping insurance apply, we will explore this with you (although some goods are not covered like glass vessels, ceramics etc).
MY PACKAGE DIDN'T ARRIVE?
We are really certain that this will rarely happen! But if your order does not arrive by the time it should, we are here to help! Email email@example.com and we will move heaven and earth to get those local goods to you.
