FAQ: THE CRAFT TOUR (open air markets)

shop local ottawa, ottawa craft markets

NEXT: October 30th @ Kichesippi Brewing Co.

WHAT'S THE CRAFT TOUR?

We are back baby!

After 18 long (long) months of waiting + of doing virtual, we are welcoming our community back for a series of open air events at craft breweries across the city. When we were starting to think about coming back, our heart kept thinking back to the events over the years that offered the best opportunities for connection.

The casual and local focused vibe at craft breweries is the perfect collboration to bring it back!

WHEN IS THE CRAFT TOUR HAPPENING?

The market will always be on Saturdays (unless we are running a postponed weather date).

The craft tour will run through to the end of October.

IS THERE A COST TO ATTEND?

The craft tour is FREE to attend. Our mission is to welcome people to connect with local creative entrepreneurs. We may occasionally run a fundraiser at the door in collaboration with local causes.

HOW DO I BECOME A VENDOR?

We are accepting applications for all dates open July 29th. Our goal for each date is a fresh, curated offering from different categories. We are looking for established and emerging modern brands who are ready to get back to business IRL.

APPLY HERE

All of the information is in the application.

WILL I BE ABLE TO BE A VENDOR AT MORE THAN ONE DATE?

Heck yes. Like we said, our mission is to offer a balanced + fresh mix of makers.

Please apply for as many dates that you would like to attend. We cannot promise you will be accepted to all.

WHAT TYPE OF COVID19 PROTOCOLS WILL YOU HAVE IN PLACE?

We are still very conscious about covid19 and our #1 priority is creating a safe, responsible environment. We will be following all provincial and city guidelines (and then some).

  • Social distancing will be in place. Staying within your own pod of shoppers.
  • Respecting all contact guidelines at each makers table (ie: some vendors may not want you to touch their table etc).
  • Directional signage.
  • Sanitization stations.
  • Masks recommended when in a vendor booth.
  • No walking with beer allowed (must be seated).
  • Not attending should you not pass the screening test.
